Schedule of Meetings for 2025
Southside Artists Association meets monthly on the first Tuesday (dates are below) at 1200 PM, for planning, artistic demonstrations and discussions by local artists and fellowship. We are open to new members, beginners as well as seasoned professionals. Below is the schedule of dates and topics for this year.

APRIL 1st DEMO ARTIST: The very famous Ken Wright, an abstract artist and also paints horses and other subjects. Did you know he owns horses and is a book author and a Black Cowboy? He has his own studio at the D’Art Center in Norfolk.
MAY 6 DEMO ARTIST: Deanna Strother, a phenomenal fluid artist also found at D’Art Center.
JUNE 3 - SHOW AND TELL: get ready to bring some of your art that you want to show and talk about at our meeting.
JULY 1st DEMO ARTIST: Brittany Johnson, is an amazing Scratchboard Artist. She is one of 70 Signature Scratchboard Artists in the WORLD with the International Society of Scratchboard Artists. Check out her art at: madebybeejayart.com or Insta: @madebybeejayart
